The track hoe was running all day today. Top picture is where electrical wiring will come in to the transformer. This ditch will also carry phone wiring and a propane line to the house. The bottom photo is the start of the trench for the geo lines for the heat pump. When complete it will cover 800 feet in distance. It is 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep and when the loop is made the ditches have to be a minimum of 5 feet apart. That's a lot of dirt displaced that eventually will be replaced right back where it came from.
